Meal Search Tab

This is the Meal Search Tab. This is where you enter and select ingredients that you have in your kitchen and then find the meals you can make. If you're not sure what you want to make, let the 'Choose for Me' button give you an idea!
Meal Control Tab

This is the Meal Control Tab. This is where you enter the meals you like to make along with their ingredients and instructions. Any ingredients you add to your meals in this tab will automatically be added to the list of ingredients on the Meal Search Tab.
Shopping List Tab

This is the Shopping List Tab. This is a very powerful feature of Discover-a-Dish that helps you figure out what you should buy at the grocery store depending on your needs. The Restock list simply adds all ingredients that you currently don't have to your shopping list. The Economical list figures out the least number of ingredients you need to buy to make the number of meals you specify in categories that you select. The Pantry Inspired list finds what you need to buy in order to make meals that require ingredients that you want to use up. This is useful for getting rid of those perishable items before they go bad! The final list, Plan Ahead, allows you pick the meals you want to make and it will simply add the ingredients you need to buy to make those meals to your shopping list. You may also manually add and remove items from your shopping list.
Category Control Tab

This is the Category Control Tab. This is where you add and prioritize the categories your meals may be filed under. Also, it allows you to easily rename a category or move meals from one category to another.
