Introduction
Thank you for choosing Discover-a-Dish®! This utility will help you organize your meal planning as well as determine what meals you can make with the ingredients currently in your kitchen. In the future, the program will have the ability to print out your recipes as well as help optimize your grocery shopping.
These documents are here to help you use Discover-a-Dish and all of its powerful features. Each tab in the program has its own help page with the addition of a page for the main menu and toolbar. Each page will detail all of the features available and how they might interact with the other tabs. In addition, there are detailed screenshots on each page so you can easily visualize what the document is explaining. Access the different help pages by clicking on one of the Help Topics links at the top of each page. These help documents look best when viewed at 1024x768 resolution.
If you are unable to find an answer to your question in these help documents, please look at the Frequently Asked Questions page. It contains answers to the most common questions that the support department receives and it is likely your question will be answered there. However, if you are still unable to get your question answered, please visit http://www.shippysoft.com/support.html for information on how to contact Support.
Looking for free recipes? ShippySoft has a free recipe database available online for users of Discover-a-Dish. To access the database, visit http://www.shippysoft.com/discover/recipes.shtml. You may also submit your own recipes to the website if you would like to share them with others.
You may also consider signing up for one of our mailing lists. The available mailing lists are at http://www.shippysoft.com/mailinglists.shtml.
If you ever come up with ideas for new features that you think would be great additions to Discover-a-Dish, please email sales@shippysoft.com. Also, if you have modified Discover-a-Dish to do something new and useful, please consider sending a patch to us so others may enjoy it as well.
